My name is Colin Hodge welcome to my photography portfolio. I'm a mechanical engineer living and working in Seattle, WA.
Towards the end of my time at the University of Vermont in 2021 I developed a passion for photography on a Nikon D80 after taking graduation photos of friends (check them out here!). Since then I have spent time living in Utah and Washington, taking every opportunity to get out of my apartment and into the backcountry to explore the beautiful areas around me and increase my photography skills.
Featured with my photography on this website is a collection of Ski and Skateboarding videos I have made. Videography is something I'm still new to but the projects listed on my site are ones I'm super proud of. If you check my YouTube, you can see ski videos on my channel from back in early high-school (like this one!), and compare them to some of the newer ones I have made.
Besides the Nikon D80, photos from this website are also taken on a Nikon D5600 which is what I got as a graduation gift from my family, and a Sony a7IV. I spent a few years learning so much about photography on my 5600, and recently made the switch to Mirrorless in the Sony suite of cameras.
